A taste of the Island Paradise- Boracay



Boracay Island is located in the Municipality of Malay, Province of Aklan. It was discovered in Early 1970s. In 1978, it was declared as a Tourism Zone and Marine Reserve by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 1801. Since then, Boracay has positioned itself as a Global destination. As to 2009 survey, it has a total of 334 Resorts, 7,360 rooms that can accommodate tourists of different budgets simple cottages to luxurious hotels and resorts fronting the beach.

Boracay is more than just being a paradise, its sugary white sand and azure waters, Boracay is an activity place. Here are just some of the things that you can do while you are in Boracay:


Dragon Boat rowing competition
For the past four years, the Boracay dragon boat races have brought together a unique combination of fast-paced competitive action,a beautiful natural environment,and an invigorating lifestyle so much so that the number of participants dramatically increase every year.The Boracay International Dragon Boat Festival is organized annually by the Boracay Island Paddlers Association,Inc(BIPA)in cooperation with the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation and the Municipality of Malay

Watch fiery dancers,
